Osborn Metals hits the road with the Cabestan bike
Behind this unique adventure bike lies a handcrafted, French design built for long journeys.
The Cabestan is a fully collapsible, compact, and robust bike, capable of being carried like luggage without ever compromising its performance on the trail.
We are proud to have contributed to this project by supplying our GT750 tubing (25CD4S - chromoly - 1.7214/1.7218 - cold drawn and stress relieved) from the "Tubes for Cycling and Soft Mobilities" range, at the heart of this 100% French creation.
Led by the Decentralized Artisanal Manufacturing (MAD), this project embodies a committed vision : local, sustainable, and open-source production, thanks to a network of passionate individuals.
