Internal or external splines ?
Splined shafts or tubes are used in many mechanical systems like steering columns or transmission shafts.
The splines, that can be internal or external must be precise enough to allow proper sliding while capable of transmitting power (or torque). In the case of short shafts, the splines can be machined. In the case of long shafts, in order to optimize production costs, the splines can be obtained in deforming the material during the cold drawing operation.
We are able to manufacture all your special splined tubes or shafts either in steel or stainless steel.
