A New Cold-Drawn Special Profile from Osborn Metals
This new example of a cold-drawn steel special profile is quite similar to a tube, but its specific shape, combining relatively large dimensions with intricate design details, required constant attention and several iterations on the drawing die design to produce a product that met our client’s requirements.
The straightening steps that follow the drawing process also have a significant impact on the geometry of the final product and demand the full expertise of our straightening team.
