GTV1200

For high end applications, Osborn metals has leveled up the limits of the 15CDV6 steel with a special cold drawing, quenching and tempering sequence to obtain Rm ≥ 1200 Mpa.

Despite a very high tensile strength, the high elongation coefficient gives a good bending capability.

Tubes are delivred in linished condition.

GT1000

For the most demending motorsport applications.

Thanks to its experience in aeronautic, as supplier of tubes in 15CDV6 for Airbus, Airbus Helicopters and Safren Helicopter engines, Osborn Metals has developped its own brand for the tubes in 15CDV6 (15CrMoV6).

This is the same base material which is sued in the GT1000 tubes.

The aeronautic requirements and the cleanliness gives to the GT1000 tubes a optimal level of quality in terms of homogeneity, strength, resilience and fatigue resistance.

GTV900

The GTV900 tubes are based on a 25CD4S aerosapce quality steel which is cold drawn, quenched and tempered to obtain Rm ≥ 900 Mpa.

The higher Yield and Tensile strengths compared to GTV7500 give the possibility to use thiner tubes for the same fatigue resistance.
Tubes are delivred in linished condition.

GTV750

The GTV750 has the same characteristics as GT750, ie a 25CD4S aerosapce quality steel which is cold drawn and stress relived.

Thanks to a very high elongation coefficient, the tubes can be easily bended and they can be easily welded.
Tubes are delivred in linished condition.

GT750

The 25CrMo4 is a frequent grade used in motorsport. Osborn Metals has developped its own brand for these tubes.

The aeronautic requirements and the cleanliness gives to the GT750 tubes a optimal and sustainable level of quality.

Delivred in +SR condition (Stress Relief) this gives a good bending caapbility while keeping a high level of strength to reduce the weight of the roll cages.

4130

4130 is a steel grade historically used in the aeronautics sector and in motor sports.

The variety of delivery conditions available (+C, +A, +SR, HT-125, HT-150 and HT-180) offers a wide range of performances allowing adaptation to a very large number of conditions of use and reducing the mass of the parts produced with the tubes.

BS T45

The T45 tubes, or to be more precise tubes BS T45, BS T100, BS S100 are tubes with guaranteed Carbone and Manganese ratios.

The tubes have high mechanical characteristics with a very good weight/performance ratio that made them very popular in UK.

In motorsports, they are very well adapted to build roll cages as critical mechanical components.

Osborn Metals manufactures T45 tubes according to imperial and metric dimensions.

For diameters below 0.438″ (11.1mm), the name is T64 and no longer T64.
