Tubes for cycling and leisure

Despite a large panel of bike types, shape of frames and usages, the tubes for the cycling industry are quite standard in terms of mechanical characteristics and sizes.

 
On the mechanical characteristics stand point, and thanks to the voice of our customers in the cycling industry, Osborn Metals is pleased to offer 3 grades that are close to the motorsport grades GT750 and GT1000.
 
For very high performance and the most severe applications, the GTV1200 is based on a quenched and tempered 15CDV6 steel with very high mechanical characteristics.
 
The 25CD4S steel is offered under two names: GTV900 and GTV750 which can give the best compromise between mechanical characteristics and bending capability.
 
Like the motorsport tubes GT1000, GT750 and BS T45, these tubes are manufactured according to the aeronautical standards.
 
All the range of tubes can be proposed according to any special shape (round, rectangle, square, airfoil, oval…) according to our customer requirements. A permanent stock of tubes with usual sizes is available for urgent needs.
