To fulfil the needs of the major teams in international competitions but also all the customers wanting to make some small repair work or renewal of their cars, Osborn Metals has developed a range to cold drawn seamless tubes in Chromium-Vanadium for the GT1000 (15CDV6), Chromium-Molybdenum for the GT750 (25CD4S) and Carbon-Molybdenum for the BS T45. On request, Osborn Metals can also produce 4130, 826M40 steel tubes, Niobium tubes or any other grade. Certain grades and sizes of tubes from our cycling and soft mobility range can also be applied to motorsports.
All of our tubes, produced according to aeronautical quality standards, are particularly adapted to the high constraints of motorsports and have been used many times in the highest competitions. They also meet the regulatory constraints of the FIA.
All of these ranges of tubes can be offered in any section shape (round, rectangle, square, ellipse, teardrop, etc.) at customer request. A stock of common sized tubes is available for sale for urgent requests.
The first production run of a custom-made tube always involves its share of uncertainties.
