Osborn Metals has joined SIGMA Clermont’s SIGMA REGEN SUPERBIKE project, which aims to design a retrofitted electric motorcycle for the 24 Heures Motos du Mans in 2029.
The school’s expertise in high-performance metal solutions is a key asset in meeting this technological challenge.
It was therefore only natural that Osborn Metals provided the team with cold-drawn tubes from the GT750 motorsport range (25CD4S – Chromoly) for the chassis components.
This partnership provides valuable support to the engineering students involved in the motorcycle’s development, particularly in mechanical design and performance optimization.
This collaboration strengthens the project’s momentum and its ambition to innovate for more sustainable mobility.
The official presentation of the bike as part of the 24 Hours of Le Mans on April 18, 19 and 20 marks a new milestone and Osborn Metals would like to congratulate the entire SIGMA REGEN SUPERBIKE project team for this great success !
