Quality : a commitment, a team and resources
In addition to the standards AS/EN 9100 and ISO 9001, the products from Osborn Metals are strictly verified and qualified according to product standards and/or special specifications of our customers.
To perform all these quality tests :
- Traction acc. to ISO 6892-1, EN 2002-1 and ASTM B557,
- Vickers Hardness acc. To ISO 6507 and ASTM E92
- Rockwell Hardness acc. to ISO 6508 et ASTM E18,
- Decarburization layer with micro-hardness acc. to ASTM E384,
- Flaring test acc. to IGC 04-24-118,
- Crash test acc. to NF A9-857 and IGC 04-31-108.
Our test and control lab (like our special processes) is qualified by Airbus, Airbus Helicopters and Safran Helicopter Engines.
Every other year, we enroll in the « PTP » program organized by AIRBUS.
